VERNON HILLS, Illinois, October 27, 2008 – American Hotel Furnishings, a division of American Hotel Register Company,
has been awarded a contract to provide interior design services for the renovation of a Family House facility at University Club
in Pittsburgh’s Oakland district. This fourth Family House location will provide 45 more guest rooms to their already existing 115 rooms.
Deidre Schwartz, Director of Design for American Hotel Furnishings, is honored to be working on this important project,
one that will serve thousands of people traveling to Pittsburgh for medical treatment. She says, “This is the kind of project that really
makes you feel good about what you do and how you can serve people. It is all about creating comfort and a sense of home to guests who really need it.”
Family House, a non-profit corporation operated by a voluntary board of directors, provides a “home away from home” for patients

has been awarded a contract to provide interior design services for the new construction of the Hilton Garden Inn, located in Olathe,
Kansas. Expected to open in fall of 2009, the new Hilton Garden Inn is applying for LEED certification through the USGBC.
Tao Development Group, LLC of Lubbock, TX, a company committed to sustainability, is the developer of the new
Hilton Garden Inn in Olathe. Wich Brenner, VP of Operations of Tao Development, has committed to have all future
developments LEED certified. Deidre Schwartz, Director of Design for American Hotel Furnishings and a LEED accredited
interior designer, is also committed to sustainable design: “It is our responsibility and obligation to educate our

As former president of Quill Corporation, a direct marketer of office products acquired
by Staples in 1998, Mr. Morse brings extensive knowledge and experience to his new
role. A 21-year veteran of Quill, Morse held the positions of Vice President of
Operations, then Senior Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer before
being named President and Chief Executive Officer in 2000, replacing Jack Miller.
Before joining Quill in 1987, Morse worked at American Hospital Supply Corporation.
He also served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Supply Corps.

OPENS TWO NEW DISTRIBUTION CENTERS
VERNON HILLS, Illinois, August 20, 2004 -- American Hotel Register
Company, the leader in hospitality industry supply, recently celebrated the
grand openings of two distribution centers, one in Hawaii and the other in
southern Florida. The new distribution centers allow the company to offer its
customers faster deliveries, more efficient service, plus lower shipping costs
for stock items.
The Hawaii distribution center opened on Oahu in the Honolulu
area, in mid-July. Local customers will now benefit from having the most often-
requested amenity and commodity stock items available in the islands for fast
delivery. Also, a full-time sales representative is now located in Hawaii to
provide customers with personal service.
The grand opening of the new Miami Distribution Center took place
in mid-August, when hundreds of major customers attended a ribbon-cutting
ceremony, open house, and buffet lunch.
Located in the Medley area, the Miami facility has approximately
48,000 sq. ft. of space and houses both a state-of-the-art distribution center
