American Hotel Register Company Teams Up with First Hospitality to Win Holiday Inn Renovation of the Year Award
Vernon Hills, IL – February 6, 2012 – American Hotel Register Company, the world’s premier hospitality supplier, is proud to announce that its FF&E Solutions team was recently recognized for interior design and furnishings, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) procurement in the renovation of the Holiday Inn Itasca, Illinois, which won the Holiday Inn Renovation of the Year award at the Annual IHG Conference.
Dan Smith of First Hospitality Group, the property’s management company, explained American Hotel’s collaboration on this project: “When [my company] took over the management of the Holiday Inn Itasca, the existing renovation plan was very uncoordinated. The best move we made was calling in Deidre Schwartz and the FF&E Solutions team at American Hotel. They created design plans for all of the areas that didn’t have one, sourced and procured what we needed, and helped us deliver a great product design in record time. Calling in American Hotel was truly the best idea…we went from very little design in the middle of an inherited project to pulling together an award-winning design. American Hotel was critical to the success of this renovation.”
